Dragon Age: The Missing
George Mann, Fernando Heinz Furukawa, Kieran McKeown · 2023
Varric Tethras and Lace Harding are given the job of finding Solas, their old companion from the Inquisition, who walked away from his friends years ago. They don't agree on what to do with him if they find him, and new enemies keep turning up in their way.
What this adds if you've played the games
This leads straight into the opening of The Veilguard. It shows how Varric and Harding come to be where you find them at the start of the game, and it gives Harding, who becomes a companion there, more room than Inquisition ever did. It's a short four-issue comic, so it takes an evening. Read it right before you start the game.
