Chris Roberson

Chris Roberson is an American novelist and comic writer. Roberson co-created iZombie with Michael Allred and has written a lot for Mike Mignola's Hellboy universe, alongside prose science fiction and licensed comics.

For God of War, Roberson wrote both Dark Horse comics, drawn by Tony Parker. The first, God of War, shows Kratos living in the north a few years before the 2018 game. Fallen God, published later, goes back to cover his exit from Greece after God of War III. Read them in publication order, once you've finished the 2018 game.
