Robert E. Vardeman

Robert E. Vardeman is an American science fiction and fantasy writer who has been publishing since the 1970s, under that name and several pen names. Vardeman's books include the Cenotaph Road fantasy series, the Swords of Raemllyn series with George W. Proctor, and two early Star Trek novels, The Klingon Gambit and Mutiny on the Enterprise.

For God of War, Vardeman co-wrote the novelization of the first game with Matthew Stover, then wrote the God of War II novelization alone. Read them in that order; the second carries straight on from the first.
