Igor Kasperov, an eccentric Russian billionaire who runs one of the world's biggest anti-virus companies, is ordered by the Kremlin to unleash a computer virus on the United States. He refuses and runs. Sam and Fourth Echelon have to find him first and deliver the President's offer of asylum, because the others looking for him only want him dead.
What this adds if you've played the games
The direct follow-up to Blacklist: Sam is running Fourth Echelon, the unit the game set up, and this is its next job. Peter Telep wrote it under his own name, and it reads like another operation you didn't get to play, with Russia as the opponent. It doesn't change anything about the games, but it's the closest thing there is to more Blacklist.
Where it fits
- Read afterTom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Aftermath follows Fourth Echelon after Blacklist's campaign and assumes you know how it ended. Play the game first.
