Tales from the Pizzaplex: Nexie
Scott Cawthon, Kelly Parra, Andrea Waggener · 2023
Astrid tells no one about the strange things her Buddytronic doll has been doing. Kara talks a Pizzaplex employee into letting her stay longer in the VR attraction. A Fazbear Entertainment engineer's personal project has surprises for anyone who comes across it. The epilogue builds toward the end of the construction crew's story.
What this adds if you've played the games
'The Mimic' is the most important story in either anthology series for the modern games. It tells the books' version of where the Mimic came from, years before Secret of the Mimic told its own. The two versions don't match, and that's part of the fun, but the story gives away a lot of the game's mystery. Play Secret of the Mimic first, then read this.
