BioWare

Canadian studio founded in Edmonton in 1995 and owned by Electronic Arts since 2007. It made its name with Baldur's Gate and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, then created two series of its own, Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

On this site it's the studio behind all four Dragon Age games and their story DLC, from Origins and Awakening through Dragon Age II, Inquisition and Trespasser to The Veilguard. If you're new to the series, start with Origins: the later games assume you know Thedas, and most of the novels build on it.
