Rand Miller

Rand Miller co-founded Cyan with his brother Robyn and co-created Myst and Riven. He still runs the studio, and he plays Atrus in the games' live-action video.

He's credited on all three Myst novels, written with David Wingrove from the stories he and Robyn had worked out for the world: The Book of Atrus, The Book of Ti'ana and The Book of D'ni. Start with The Book of Atrus, ideally between Myst and Riven.
