Fazbear Frights: 1:35AM
Scott Cawthon, Elley Cooper, Andrea Waggener · 2020
Three stories about people left behind. Delilah, orphaned young and recently divorced, sinks deeper into her dreams every night. Stanley, newly dumped, works a dead-end job for a mysterious employer. Devon, abandoned by his dad and ignored by his mom, can't see why friendship comes so easily to everyone else. In the epilogue, Larson's case takes a turn.
What this adds if you've played the games
A quieter volume. None of the three stories is tied to a game the way 'Into the Pit' is, so you're reading it for the setting's mood and for the epilogue, where the Stitchwraith thread starts to show its shape. Delilah's story matters to Larson's case later on. If you're reading the series for the games' history, skim the stories and read the epilogue properly.
Where it fits
- Read afterFazbear Frights: Fetch
The stories are new, but the epilogue continues from Fetch's and builds on 'Out of Stock', so read Fetch first.
- Comes beforeFazbear Frights: Step Closer
Larson's case takes a big step in this epilogue, following on from 1:35AM's. The standalone stories don't care about order, but the epilogue does.
