Li Li Stormstout, the restless niece of the brewmaster Chen, has left the Wandering Isle to find her uncle and see the world, and a pandaren named Bo has been sent to bring her home. Their trip runs into naga, pirates and the legend of a pearl from Pandaria, years before the mists lift.
What this adds if you've played the games
A light, funny comic that introduces Li Li and gives the Wandering Isle, the pandaren starting zone, some history before you play it. Chen is here too, before he becomes a fixture of Mists of Pandaria. There's little in it that changes how you see the game, but it's a quick, warm read and a nice way into the expansion's tone.
Where it fits
- Read beforeWorld of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
Set before the mists lift, introducing pandaren characters and the Wandering Isle that Mists of Pandaria builds on. Reading it first spoils nothing.
