Christie Golden

Christie Golden is best known for her Warcraft novels, which span from the early days of the Horde to recent events in World of Warcraft. She's written key stories about Thrall, Arthas, Jaina Proudmoore, and Sylvanas, plus short fiction in The Voices Within.

If you're coming from the games, start with Lord of the Clans for Thrall's origin or Arthas: Rise of the Lich King for the backstory behind Wrath of the Lich King. Her books fill in gaps between expansions, like The Shattering leading into Cataclysm.
