Set after The Dark Ages' campaign, in the long stretch before the 2016 game. The Slayer is brought low and thrown into a purgatory inside his own mind, stripped of his armor. A stranger called the Architect offers a way out, and the Slayer has to rebuild his gear and face his past to escape. It's six levels and a new weapon, the Chain Spear.
