Myst Books and Games in Chronological Order

In story order the novels come first. The Book of Ti'ana covers D'ni at its height, two generations before Atrus, and The Book of Atrus ends where Myst begins. The Book of D'ni sits between Riven and Exile. Revelation moves ahead of Uru here too, since Uru and its expansion jump to the present day before End of Ages closes things out. Going this way means reading Ti'ana before any game, which hands you history the games reveal slowly, so it suits a replay more than a first run.
