Dragon Age Books and Games in Chronological Order

Story order starts with the two World of Thedas guides, since they cover history going back thousands of years, then Maric's rebellion in The Stolen Throne and The Calling. Dragon Age II comes straight after Origins because Hawke's story opens during the same Blight, which puts it ahead of Awakening. The comics run alongside and after Inquisition, and The Missing ends where The Veilguard begins. Use this order on a replay, or once you've finished the games and want to read the books as one history. On a first run it's a poor fit, because the two lore guides at the start give away the endings.
