Warcraft Books and Games in Chronological Order

Everything in in-world order. It opens with Chronicle Volume 1's creation story and the dragons' war in War of the Scaleborn, then the night elves' war ten thousand years ago, the orcs on Draenor and only then the first game. From World of Warcraft on, the two orders mostly agree, since nearly every later book is set between expansions anyway. Lore books sit where their history begins. Use it for a reread or to follow the history as one story; on a first pass it gives a lot away early, because the prequels were written for people who already knew the games.
